Red Velvet's Irene, Seulgi, and Wendy to join BGC's New Year's Eve countdown to 2024

Red Velvet's Wendy as well as Irene and Seulgi will be part of the 2024 New Year's Eve countdown in Bonifacio Global City along with OPM acts Ely Buendia, Zack Tabudlo, and KZ Tandingan.
Live MNL announced the news in a social media post on Friday, Dec. 8. "Who dat, who dat, who dat boy? Yes! It's Red Velvet's Irene, Wendy, and Seulgi at #BGCTaguig2024NYE!" the organizer wrote on X.

Set to take place along 5th Avenue, the city's epicenter, on Dec. 31, 6:00 p.m. onwards, the street party will have two 3D LED screens and various satellite viewing areas so more people can join in the fun as they welcome another year together. Restaurants in the area will be welcoming guests and visitors until 1:00 a.m. of Jan. 1.
Red Velvet last performed in the Philippines in May as part of their concert tour Red Velvet 4th Concert: R to V, less than a year after taking part in an advocacy concert festival Be You: The World Will Adjust in the country in July 2022. They also visited the Philippines in April 2015 and June 2019.
The group consists of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, and Yeri. It debuted in August 2014 under SM Entertainment, with Yeri joining officially in March 2015. They’re known for their hit songs Psycho, Feel My Rhythm, Peek-A-Boo, Happiness, and Russian Roulette, among others.
