Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, the movie adaptation of the comic book, was first released on the big screen on August 13, 2010. While it struggled at the box office, the cult classic has enjoyed a second life through streaming services.

The unique blend of humor, action, and pop culture references drawn from TV, video games and comic books still holds up even after a decade, making this film a complete joy to watch or rewatch. First-time viewers will enjoy the fun storyline, 8-bit video game styling, epic fight scenes, killer soundtrack and quirky characters played by a (then) largely unknown ensemble cast including a former Superman, and the future Captain America and Captain Marvel, as some of the Seven Evil Exes and supporting characters.

Director Edgar Wright recently commemorated the iconic film’s 10th anniversary by posting a bunch of behind-the-scenes stills on Instagram with the hashtag #ScottPilgrimis10.

The photos, taken in early 2009 in Toronto during their Candian shoot, include pre-production shots, outtakes from early rehearsals, actors getting their makeup done, and some never before seen funny moments.

The cast recently reunited for a 10th anniversary table read, which included Michael Cera (Scott Pilgrim), Chris Evans (Lucas Lee), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Ramona Flowers), Anna Kendrick (Stacy Pilgrim), Jason Schwartzmann (Gideon Graves), Brandon Routh (Todd Ingram) and others.

Enjoy a trip down the movie’s memory lane through these BTS photos:

The film’s soundtrack is also set to be reissued, including a first time vinyl release to mark the milestone. The new release featuring Nigel Godrich’s score and a special edition OST will come out via ABKCO, with a release date to be announced “imminently,” according to a tweet by Wright.
