‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore,’ ‘The Boys’ and more new shows to watch this weekend

Just over a month after it made its premiere in local theaters, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is now available to watch on HBO GO in the Philippines. The third prequel spinoff of the Harry Potter films set in the Wizarding World dropped on the streamer on Monday, May 30.

 

Jude Law portrays a young Professor Albus Dumbledore who entrusts Newt Scamander, the magizoologist played by Eddie Redmayne, to assemble a team consisting of witches, wizards and a Muggle, played by Dan Fogler.

Mads Mikkelsen takes over the role of Gellert Grindelwald who was formerly played by Johnny Depp in the franchise's first two films. The spin-off series of Fantastic Beasts is expected to extend to five movies.

For fans of the gritty superhero dark comedy series The Boys season 3 is finally arriving on Prime Video after more than a year and a half since season 2. This season sees the addition of Jensen Ackles’s Soldier Boy and Butcher getting some superpowers of his own. Only the first three episodes of the series will premiere on Friday, June 3, with the remaining episodes arriving every Friday until the show reaches its finale on July 8.
