Anne Jakrajutatip says her favorite beauty queen is Catriona Gray: 'I respect her'
Miss Universe owner Anne Jakrajutatip has a favorite beauty queen and it's none other than the Philippines' own Catriona Gray.
Anne revealed during her interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda last May 9, which also comes months after the Thai businesswoman personally apologized to the Miss Universe 2018 during a Miss Universe event in Bangkok, Thailand last year.
Before rconfessing who her favorite is, the King of Talk asked about the viral video a few months ago, where Anne and Catriona seemingly had a heart-to-heart conversation, leaving the fans speculating about what they are talking about.
Anne first said that she told her, “Give me the crown,” and then went on to detail their interaction.
“I respect her so much, and it was [the] first time that we came across seeing each other, “ she said.
She went on to reenact the scene with Boy and shared what she said at that time in verbatim.
"I come here and say, ‘I do apologize for whatever happened in the past, but I’m so glad you are here in Thailand.'"
"Welcome to the family of JKN and also [the] Miss Universe organization," Anne said, adding, "I love you my dear from the bottom of my heart."
When asked what she apologized for, Anne simply said, “Of course, I don’t have to answer.”
“I just want to get it out of my chest, so right now, clear, off the air,” she added.
The King of Talk commended her bravery, saying, “It takes a lot of courage and humility to be able to do that.”
Anne said she needed to do it, stressing that they should “put the past aside,” especially since they will be working together.
Way back in 2019, Anne and Clint Bondad—Catriona's ex-boyfriend—made rounds in social media after Clint posted a photo of them together and called Anne as her "sidekick."
A year after, Anne revealed that Clint lived with her for nine months but cleared that there are no romantic feelings between them. She said that she sees Clint as her “little brother.”
It was in February 2019 when Catriona confirmed that she and Clint have ended their relationship.
