Horizon Forbidden West, the highly anticipated sequel to Guerilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn, dropped last Friday, (Feb. 18), and its release was celebrated in an epic way.

Life-sized art installations of the iconic Clawstriders from the game have been unleashed in the wild in key locations globally including in Seoul and South Korea for the Asian launch.

An amazingly detailed Clawstrider statue is located on the 1st floor Atrium Square of Lotte World Mall in Seoul, South Korea. The statue will be on display until March 2, 2022.

Sony also collaborated with various Asian artists for special Aloy-themed artwork and launched an intriguing machine papercraft contest.

Five prominent Asia-based illustrators, namely Ravee of Titans (Thailand), Ann Maulina (Indonesia), Lee InHyuk (South Korea), VOFAN (Taiwan), and Little Thunder (Hong Kong), all gave their own spin on Aloy.

The special illustrations are available to download on PC desktop, smartphone and video conference wallpapers here.

Sony also launched a special papercraft design of Horizon Forbidden West’s Clawstrider and Sunwing. Anyone can download the blueprints and build their own paper versions of the iconic machines at home.

The Clawstrider is a combat machine that is covered from head to tail in razor-sharp plates and equipped with vicious claws on both feet and forelimbs.

The Sunwing is a fast and nimble flyer machine that use their photovoltaic wings to store energy.

Those who build their own papercrafts and share their creations on social media can stand to win exclusive Horizon Forbidden West prizes, so get crafting!

Horizon Forbidden West is now available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
