‘Ka-Probinsyano’: Sharon Cuneta is making her Kapamilya teleserye debut
Megastar Sharon Cuneta is set to make her Kapamilya teleserye debut in FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.
The acclaimed actress was met with the red carpet and flowers delivered by leading man Coco Martin during the global media conference for her arrival in the longest-running drama series in Philippine history.
In a series of photos by Sharon, she can be seen tickled by the gesture from her new castmate.
After the celebrations, the Megastar expressed her thanks to the cast and crew on Instagram.
"I am very honored and proud to be part of FPJ’s legacy, FPJ’s ANG PROBINSYANO, on its 6th year as the number one show on television!," hse wrote. "Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Mr. Coco Martin for thinking of me one sleepless night and making my character in the show whole."
"I cannot wait to work with all of you!"
The actress expressed interest in working with Coco Martin as early as 2016 when she requested ABS-CBN to put them in a project together.
Sharon now joins fellow Kapamilya stars Martin, Julia Montes, John Estrada, and more on the crime drama series that recently concluded its sixth-year anniversary. Her role in the show has yet to be disclosed.
