It looks like Emily will get to stay in Paris –– and on your screens –– a little while longer.

Netflix renewed the series 'Emily in Paris' for a second season, a little over a month shy of its release on the platform.

The show, created by 'Sex and the City' director Darren Star, follows Lily Collins’ Emily, an enthusiastic, American free spirit, who makes the move to Paris in order to provide an American perspective to a French marketing firm. There she faces ridicule and disdain for her simply being American, while also attempting to thrive in both her career and love.

Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo and Camille Razat also star in what became one of Netflix’s most popular shows during the time of its premiere, breaking through Nielsen’s Streaming Top 10 List.

The announcement of the show's renewal came in the form of a letter from Savoir, the fictional company Emily works under while in Paris.

“We are writing to regrettably inform you that Emily Cooper will need to remain in Paris for an extended period of time,” writes Emily’s boss, Sylvie Grateau (as played by Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu).

Shortly after, the cast of the show were featured in a video Netflix posted across their socials, celebrating its renewal with the slogan “Deux (Two) is always better than un (one)."

“Thank you guys for the love and support,” Lily Collins tweeted upon news of the announcement. “I hope you’re as excited as we are!!...”
