Following the announcement of the Xbox Series X’s release window, a new leak suggests that Microsoft’s much-awaited next-generation console could potentially hit store shelves on November 6.

According to The Verge’s Tom Warren, an anonymous source - who earlier revealed the existence of the still unconfirmed Xbox Series S - sent him a photo of a packaging that allegedly houses the new controllers.

In the photo, an orange sticker can be seen on the corner of the box which notes that the package should not be sold or displayed before November 6, 2020. Although there’s no clear indication that the box really contains the rumored controllers, Warren said that the orange sticker is similar to the ones that Microsoft used on its packages before.

Prior to the new leak, a post on ResetEra also suggests that the launch of the next-generation console could really happen on November 6. According to a user known as Jawmuncher, someone who managed to purchase a next-gen controller registered the unit on the company’s support website and learned that the controller’s warranty expiration date ends on November 5, 2021 - a whole year after the rumored release date of the Xbox Series X.

Earlier this week, photos of a white Xbox Series X controller surfaced online which seemingly confirm that a digital version of the next-gen console is on its way. If you want a closer look, here’s an unboxing video of a white Xbox Series X controller that was posted on the ResetEra thread.

Although Microsoft has yet to confirm the existence of the rumored Xbox Series S and the release date of its more potent sibling, it appears that the confirmation that we’ve all waiting for is already on the horizon.
