'Tis the season for giving indeed, and for this Christmas season, music lovers not only had a chance to receive a much-awaited reunion concert of legendary rock band Eraserheads, but they were also given a new rendition of their classic song Christmas Party from none other than SB19.

Following Eraserheads' successful concert held last Thursday, Dec. 22, the P-pop kings surprised their fans by releasing their own spin on the band's treasured Christmas classic under Sony Music Entertainment.

"Happy Holidays! In honor of Eraserheads' timeless influence and music, we present to you our own rendition of the song Christmas Party," SB19 captioned on their social media posts.

Released under the rock band's fourth studio album Fruitcake, Christmas Party is all about celebrating the wonderful holiday all around the world through one big and joyous party.

With the rendition's incorporation of contemporary flavors such as dance-pop, hip-hop, and modern funk, SB19 will surely influence A'TIN who may not be fans of Eraserheads to think twice and check out some of their nostalgic music.

In a statement, the boy group praised Eraserheads for being "one of the most influential bands" of their time, sharing how they were honored to have been chosen to recreate the song during the Los Angeles stop of their "Where You At" world tour.

"We retained everything that’s great about the song, but made sure to add our own creative direction in terms of overall sound. There’s a balance of artistic liberty and compromise in the way we approach the material, and we’re definitely happy with how it turned out," SB19 said.

Produced by Filipino-Canadian artist August Rigo, who served as co-writer to one of BTS' widely acclaimed songs Black Swan, the track is available to listen on all digital music platforms worldwide such as Spotify, Apple Music, and iTunes Store.
