Lorde shared on Monday a new teaser with the caption “Solstice” on her official website.

The 21-second video opens with Lorde sitting with her eyes closed on a beach, and towards the end of the clip, she stares at the camera in a closer shot.

The background appears to be the same setting in the music video of Solar Power with flower and plant arrangement behind a tent.

No information comes with the video but Lorde earlier told her fans in an email to “look to the natural calendar for clues” for further details of the upcoming album.

The summer solstice or the longest day of the year happens today, June 21, at 11:32 a.m. in the Philippines, according to PAGASA. Winter Solstice will take place on the same date in New Zealand, where the singer is based.

Only a few days ago, Lorde released a silent clip capturing an aerial shot of a field and a beach with “SP” spelled out in tall grass and dark sand, respectively.

The 24-year-old singer released last June 11 her newest single, Solar Power, also the title of her third album, which she hopes to be her fans’ “summer companion.”
