During Apple’s latest rollout event, "Spring Loaded," the tech giant has announced that they’re finally dropping a purple variant of their iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini devices.

The move comes as a first for the tech giant, as their colorful variants once only came in red, yellow, blue, and coral pink for the iPhone XR released in 2018.

ICYDK, the iPhone 12 was released in late 2020 and boasts an advanced dual-camera system, Super Retina XDR display, and Apple’s very own A14 Bionic chip.

Though the release of the iPhone 13 has yet to be announced, the purple iPhone 12 serves as an introduction to a more vibrant array of products, as the "Spring Loaded" event also introduced the next generation of iMac desktops in 7 colorways - green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver.

The purple-finish iPhone 12 is available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB models. Preorders will start on April 23, with the launch beginning on April 30.

The tech giant also launched the product via a YouTube video titled 'Mmmmm, purple' with the track Candyman by Aubrey Woods playing in the background.
