Bringing Stranger Things' Vecna to life is no easy task. Actor Jamie Campbell Bower had to sit in the makeup chair for over seven hours to transform into the villain, so creating a 12-foot sculpture of him is one tall order.

In celebration of the release of Stranger Things 4: Volume II, Netflix Philippines brought the Upside Down to Glorietta 4 complete with vines and a huge sculpture of the menacing Vecna.

A pair of local artists, Joseph Mendoza and Allan Nicdao Pangilinan, made the sculpture together in a span of two weeks.

"Gawa sa styrofoam at paper mâché and wax clay [si Vecna]," Mendoza told PhilSTAR L!fe. "Halos two weeks namin ginawa."

Even though the time given to make the sculpture was quite short, the two artists enjoyed working on it.

This Rizal-based artist has been sculpting for 20 years and has made it his bread and butter.

Mendoza shared photos of their work while it was still in progress. His post has since gone viral with over 13,000 shares and 43,000 likes on Facebook, which took him by surprise.

Mendoza also urged aspiring artists to continue honing their craft and to love it..

The Vecna sculpture was up at Glorietta 4 from June 29 to July 2.
