EXO’s D.O., Won Jinah, Shin Yeeun to star as leads in remake of Taiwanese film ‘Secret’

Do Kyungsoo, Won Jinah, and Shin Yeeun together in a film? The acting between these three actors will surely be spectacular. 

EXO’s D.O., also known as Do Kyungsoo, Won Jinah, and Shin Yeeun have been confirmed as the leads for the remake of the 2007 Taiwanese film Secret. The film is scheduled for a 2022 release.

Secret is a Korean remake that follows the original plot of a piano virtuoso who meets a girl who plays the piano in the old music classroom of his new school.

In a report from Soompi, Kyungsoo will be taking on the role of Ye Xianglun, who was played by Jay Chou in the original film. Won Jinah will be the female lead Lu Xiao Yu who was played by Gwei Lun Mei. 

Meanwhile, Shin Yeeun will be taking on a “more important role” in the remake compared to her Taiwanese counterpart Qingyi who’s played by Alice Tzeng. 

Kyungsoo is one of the most prominent K-pop idols turned actors, and he has appeared in K-dramas like It’s Okay, That's Love, I Remember You, and 100 Days My Prince.

Jinah is one of the up-and-coming actresses in South Korea, taking on lead roles in Hellbound and She Would Never Know.

Yeeun is a rising actress where she starred in K-dramas like A-Teen, A-Teen 2, He Is Psychometric, Welcome, and More than Friends.
