What’s new on streaming sites this Independence Day weekend?

If you’re looking for something new to watch for Pride Month, Netflix has just released a new queer, teen, supernatural series that flips the script on the usual vampire love story.

Girl vampire meets girl vampire huntress in First Kill, based on V.E. Schwab's New York Times bestselling short story in the fiction collection Vampires Never Get Old: Tales With Fresh Bite.

Speaking of beings who don’t seem to age, the original Top Gun starring Tom Cruise, originally released 36 years ago, is currently streaming on HBO GO. With Top Gun: Maverick recently released in local theaters, now’s your chance to rewatch Cruise in action in this classic ‘80s flick.

New episodes of the dark and gritty superhero series The Boys are also dropping on Prime Video every Friday. Catch up on the deranged third season, which sees the addition of new supes including Termite, Soldier Boy, The Crimson Countess, and lots of blood and viscera. You have been warned.
