Move over Annabelle, there's a new creepy doll in the scene, and she just got an upgrade.

Universal Pictures has just released the official trailer for Megan, the latest scary flick to come from the mind of horror maestro James Wan.

The two-minute trailer introduces Megan, a life-like android that is set to intensify your creepy doll phobia with her unnervingly realistic look and murderous intentions.

This new science-fiction horror film puts audiences in the shoes of Gemma, a brilliant toy company roboticist who suddenly faces the greatest challenge of her life: taking care of her orphaned eight-year-old niece, Cady. Unprepared on how to be a proper parent and facing intense pressure at work, Gemma decides to enlist the help of Megan, an android she's working on, to tend to her niece.

With her advanced technology, Megan quickly bonds with Cady as she becomes her friend, teacher, playmate and protector. But the life-like robot takes things a little too far when she becomes obsessed with protecting Cady and goes on a murdering rampage against anyone who stands ih her way.

The film stars Allison Williams, Violet McGraw, Ronny Chieng, Brian Jordan Alvarez, Jen Van Epps, Lori Dungey, and Stephane Garneau-Monten.

Megan is produced and co-written by Wan, who has directed several prominent horror films such as The Conjuring, Saw, and Insidious, and will be helmed by Gerard Johnstone.

Megan is set to haunt your dreams in theaters on Jan. 13 next year.
