Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has announced Thursday that it has completed the acquisition of PC port developer Nixxes Software.

The Netherlands-based studios will join the PlayStation Studios Technology, Creative and Services Group, which may bring more PlayStation-exclusives to PC.

Nixxes’ credits include optimizing gaming projects such as Marvel's Avengers, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and the Tomb Raider trilogy.

“They have a passion for improving games and for delivering the best possible experience for gamers. Nixxes will be a strong asset for everyone across PlayStation Studios,” head of PlayStation Studios Hermen Hulst said.

Jurjen Katsman, founder and senior director of development of Nixxess, said the company is “excited to bring our technical and development expertise to an IP powerhouse like PlayStation Studios.”

Earlier this year, SIE chief executive officer Jim Ryan said to GQ last February that “a whole slate” of PlayStation-exclusive titles will be coming to PC, starting with Days Gone which was ported last April.

Last year, Horizon Zero Dawn and Death Stranding became available to PC.

The deal is the second acquisition of Sony in a week after Housemarque, developer of PlayStation 5’s Returnal.
