‘A marvel of a man’: Paul Rudd is named as People magazine’s ‘sexiest man alive’
With his gorgeous green eyes and easygoing grin, it’s no wonder Paul Rudd was named People magazine’s sexiest man alive.
Rudd, the actor known for playing Ant Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Mike Hannigan in the sitcom Friends, joined the likes of Idris Elba, Bradley Cooper, George Clooney, Michael B. Jordan, Brad Pitt, and Ryan Reynolds.

Rudd joked that he’ll “finally be invited to some of those sexy dinners” with Jordan, Clooney, and Pitt in a cover interview. “I’m excited to expand my yachting life. And I'll probably try to get better at brooding in really soft light. I like to ponder. I think this is going to help me become more inward and mysterious. And I'm looking forward to that.”
Rudd said his wife was “stupefied” about his new title. “But you know she was very sweet about it. After some giggling and shock, she said ‘Oh, they got it right.’ And that was very sweet. She was probably not telling the truth, but what's she going to say?”
Reynolds, who was named People’s “sexiest man alive” in 2010, said he’s “very excited” about Rudd’s title in an interview with Today.
“He’s going to play it shy. He’s going to play it bashful, humble. If I know what I knew now, I wouldn’t. You got to seize this opportunity,” he said.
