For first-time voters and those who are cramming last-minute to learn all they can about candidates and how to vote, we’ve compiled the most useful digital resources and websites related to the ongoing elections to keep you informed.
COMELEC Website
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) website is the major resource for the latest updates and official information about the electoral process. The site currently contains the latest news and guidelines on everything from the ballot face templates, voter registration, and more.
Here are some of COMELEC’s latest reminders from their YouTube channel.
Vote Pilipinas
Vote Pilipinas is the official voter information campaign of the Commision on Elections. The website encourages the Filipino people to vote wisely in the 2022 elections via digital communications, on-ground activities and the like.
In case you still haven’t made up your mind on certain candidates, you can easily browse through candidate’s profiles on their dashboard to browse through platform and policies, major accomplishments, advocacies and share the verified links on social media.
The website also shares handy infographics and voting resources on their social media channels like Instagram.
Precinct Finder

An online database where users can search for their voter precinct and check whether their account is active. The website allows registered voters to know where they're supposed to cast their votes on election day. All you have to do is enter your full name and province and city/municipality where you're registered. Tap on the submit button and check where you're supposed to go on May 9.
For the 2022 elections, Twitter has partnered with the Commission on Elections (@COMELEC) to amplify voter education in line with the 2022 General Election in the Philippines.

Tsek.ph
Not sure if an article related to Philippine candidates or the ongoing elections circulating online is fact or fake?
Tsek.ph is a collaborative fact-checking project for the 2022 Philippines’ elections. It is an initiative of academe, media and civil society to counter disinformation and provide the public with verified information. Tsek.ph builds on its success as a pioneering collaborative project in the 2019 elections. The fact-checking website aims to verify and fact-check the following claims:
- Platforms and campaign promises of candidates;
- Election-related statements and remarks made by candidates, personalities, government agencies, and other entities; and
- Election-related posts on social media, blogs and other platforms.

HOPE (Honest Open Philippine Elections) App
Last Friday (April 29), the election coalition 1Sambayan launched its poll watchers’ campaign featuring a newly created mobile application that seeks to empower every Filipino voter to “guard and protect” the public’s votes. The app will reportedly be used by volunteers as an unofficial parallel quick count for the May 9, 2022 Philippine elections. This is not endorsed by the Philippine Commission on Elections.
The app can be downloaded for free on both Google Play and App Store.
