Konami announces Yu Gi Oh! ‘Legendary Duelists: Season 2’ set

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced an official date for the release of Legendary Duelists: Season 2, a new set for the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game.

In a recent post at the game’s official website, Konami has revealed a January 2021 launch for the new set of Yu Gi Oh! trading cards.

The new update will feature cards from White Dragon Abyss and Sisters of the Rose. Some will be upgraded to Secret Rare — a rarity not available on the previous sets. The new set will also feature a couple of cards from two of the most famous duelists from the series: a new Blue-Eyes card for Seto Kaiba and a new Galaxy-Eyes card for Kaito Tenjo.

To allow players to stylize their deck more, the upcoming set will showcase the upgraded Ultra Rare pool in an array of new hues: blue, green, purple, and the standard gold. Each Legendary Duelists: Season 2 box will contain one of several special collectible dice.

Each Legendary Duelists: Season 2 box contains a grand total of 1 Secret Rare, 6 Ultra Rares (2 standard Ultra Rares and 4 colorful Ultra Rares) and 30 Commons.

The complete Legendary Duelists: Season 2 set contains 119 cards total: 10 Secret Rares, 30 Ultra Rares (available in blue, green, purple, or standard) and 79 Commons.

Expect Legendary Duelists: Season 2 to officially hit shelves Jan. 22, 2021 with an MSRP of $14.99 (P725).
