New ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ poster drops ahead of second trailer

A brand new poster for Spider-Man: No Way Home has dropped ahead of a second trailer that will premiere tomorrow.

This latest poster sees Benedict Cumberbatch’s  Doctor Strange getting in on the action, right beside Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. The two face off against Doc Ock's arms, Electro, with Green Goblin seen flying in the background.

According to Marvel Entertainment's official Twitter account, the second official trailer will arrive tomorrow.

Sony Pictures is actually holding a live fan event for the trailer launch in Los Angeles which will reportedly feature big surprises and special guests on Tuesday, Nov. 16 (Wednesday, Nov. 17 local time).

The stars of the film have taken the opportunity to tease the second trailer’s release with a cast reaction video.

Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland shared a clip to his Instagram of himself and co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reacting to the currently unreleased trailer. The same video was posted by Marvel Entertainment’s YouTube account.

While their reaction tease video doesn't really give fans any solid clues on the contents of the new trailer, it does give us an idea of how many YouTubers will look doing their own reaction videos when the new Spider-Man trailer drops.

Spider-Man: No Way Home marks the end of the "Home" franchise that began with Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Following the events of the last film, Peter Parker asks Doctor Strange for help regarding his secret identity and ends up messing with the multiverse.

Confirmed villains include Alfred Molina's Doc Ock, Jamie Foxx's Electro, and Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin.

The movie is being directed by Jon Watts, and the cast also includes Zendaya as MJ, Batalon as Ned, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Tony Revolori as Flash, and Hannibal Buress as Coach Wilson.

While Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to hit theaters around the world on Dec. 17, the release date has unfortunately been delayed in the Philippines.

Fans in the Philippines will have to wait until Jan. 8, 2022 to catch the third Spidey film on the big screen.
