Filipinos absolutely love horror movies. and nothing scared the living daylights out of moviegoers more than the Shake, Rattle, & Roll film series.

Produced mostly by Regal Films, Shake, Rattle & Roll is an iconic Philippine horror anthology series which started in 1984 and is composed of 15 absolutely terrifying movies which came out almost every year—starting with the 1990 sequel—and around the Christmas season (in time for the Metro Manila Film Festival [MMFF] in December).

The first installment in the series which came out in 1984 was released by the now-defunct Athena Productions, before being picked up by Regal Entertainment for 1990's Shake, Rattle & Roll II.

With 15 movies over the years spanning 1984 to 2014, Shake, Rattle & Roll is the longest film series in Philippine cinema, beating out another Christmas MMFF staple, Mano Po, which has only seven entries from 2002 to 2016.

Some of the notable directors to have helmed stories in the Shake, Rattle & Roll universe include Peque Gallaga, Lore Reyes, Ishmael Bernal, Don Escudero, Jose Javier Reyes, Anton Juan, Chito Roño, and Jerrold Tarog, among many other legendary Philippine cinema directors

On Oct. 25, 2021, Regal Entertainment released all 15 films on their YouTube channel for free for an undetermined time.

The channel placed all 15 Shake, Rattle & Roll entries under one playlist which can be accessed here.
