Nadine Lustre is poised to star in an upcoming techno-horror film from rising Filipino director Mikhail Red called Deleter.

The flick will revolve around an online content moderator who takes down a suicide video made by her co-worker. This desensitized woman, however, has to face her troubled past and a mysterious vengeful presence that she cannot escape from.

Written by Red and his younger brother Nikolas, Deleter will also star Louise delos Reyes and McCoy de Leon.

The upcoming thriller is produced by Viva Films and will start shooting in August and September. It's intended to be completed by the end of the year to coincide with a launch at key festivals.

Deleter will be Lustre's second movie with Viva Films since she returned to the agency. Her comeback flick Greed, which showed off the actress in a different light, hit VivaMax Plus earlier in March.

Meanwhile, Red's most recent film, Arisaka, hit festivals last year. It starred Maja Salvador and is available to stream on Netflix.
