Twitter is the ideal place for bite-sized bursts of emotion—and with boxer Nesthy Petecio nabbing the Philippines' second medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, it's no surprise that she's risen to the Philippine trending list.

Nesthy nabbed the silver medal in the women's boxing final today, Aug. 3, against Japan's Sena Irie in a nail-biting stand-off. As the first Filipina boxer to earn an Olympic medal, there's a lot worth celebrating.

Check out some of the online acclaim surrounding the deserving athlete:

Aside from the congratulations, others are also defending that Nesthy didn't simply "settle" for the silver, as it took years of training and sacrifice to even reach the Tokyo Olympic ring.

Meanwhile, other netizens have called forth for a certain iced tea brand of the same name.

While others are just downright making hilarious memes of the situation.

Before the Tweets exploded, one of Nesthy's last tweets before the big match showcased an adorable "mini-me" clay figurine of the Olympian and "one last push" for her 2020 Olympic stint.

Looks like Nesthy is getting the hang of Twitter to see the love coming her way!
