Heart Evangelista launches first ever art toy collectibles
Want to own unique collectible toys hand-painted by Heart Evangelista herself? You can, if you've got P200k to spare.
Heart will be releasing her first ever art toy collection at Secret Fresh gallery later this month.
The actress and model shared an Instagram reel of herself walking around the art gallery in San Juan, showing closeups of her artwork, and a few behind the scenes clips writing personalized messages.
“My first ever Art Toy release, a collectible set of 12 figures - each hand painted - will be released in a limited run of only 50 sets. Each set comes with a personalized message for me (a surprise actually),” she captioned her post on Saturday, Aug. 13.
"Thank you already for the love," she added.
Titled "Seasons", Heart’s hand-painted toys are colorful three-dimensional resin figures of various figures of women that also appear in her painted artwork, which are also currently on display at the gallery.
The collectible set of 12 figures, which come in a special wooden box, with unique messages and little doodles by the artist, are reportedly priced at a whopping P200,000 each.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Secret Fresh gallery owner Bigboy Cheng revealed that more than half of Heart's art toy sets have already been sold and he predicts the rest will be snapped up by other toy collectors soon, days before its official release. Only 40 of the 50 sets made by Heart will officially be sold.
Born from the passion for collecting toys, Secret Fresh is a premiere artist vinyl toy shop in the Philippines that caters to the niche toy market and frequently engages with local and foreign artists for limited edition collaborations for art toys and prints. The gallery is located inside Ronac Art Center, a hub for contemporary street fashion, design and lifestyle. Aside from serving as an art space, Secret Fresh also sells apparel and other unique artist-made merchandise.
Along with the official release of the toys, Heart will also be exhibiting her paintings in the gallery this coming August 28, 2022.
