According to the Duffer Brothers, every episode of Stranger Things season 4 is over an hour long.

According to the official description of Stranger Things’ fourth season: “It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time—and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”

Along with scenes of how Eleven is adjusting to school and life in a new town along with the Byers family, the trailer introduces the upcoming season’s new enemy, who appears to be bringing war to Hawkins and the rest of the Earth. We also see glimpses of Max talking to Billy's grave and levitating above it in one scene, and some members of the Hawkins gang coming together to explore the Creel House, an eerie haunted house with a connection to the murderous Victor Creel. Hopper is revealed to be alive, but imprisoned in Russia. The final seconds of the trailer show reveals a horrifying new threat in the form of a human-Demogorgon hybrid.

“A war is coming. Your friends in Hawkins are very much in the eye of a storm,” Eleven is warned. “I don’t know how to say this other than just to say it—without you, we can’t win this war.”
