Weekend Watchlist: ‘Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness,’ ‘Fear Street Part 2’ and more

The weekend is here once again. With the rainy season coming up, staying indoors and catching up on new shows sounds like a great plan. 

New offerings this week include some shows based on popular video games. Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is now streaming on Netflix, along with the 2016 action fantasy film Warcraft, based on the video game series of the same name.

Viewers can also return to Shadyside in the second installment of the horror trilogy Fear Street, with the story jumping back 16 years to 1978.

Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness

Synopsis: Years after the horrors of Raccoon City, Leon and Claire find themselves consumed by a dark conspiracy when a viral attack ravages the White House.

Fear Street Part 2: 1978

Warcraft 

Synopsis: Humans and orcs clash when Draenor’s warriors arrive at Azeroth through a portal in this fantasy tale based on the popular video game.

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw

Synopsis: When US agent Luke Hobbs is sent to England to stop a deadly biothreat, he's forced to team up with his nemesis, mercenary Deckard Shaw.

Cat People

Synopsis: Cat people come in all shapes and sizes, but they share a love for their enchanting, unique feline friends. This docuseries reveals their tales.

Atypical: Season 4

Synopsis: When a teen on the autism spectrum decides to get a girlfriend, his bid for more independence puts his whole family on a path of self-discovery.

Stronger
