From spitting fiery rap verses to producing heartfelt songs, there’s nothing that Min Yoongi or BTS’ Suga can’t do. This time, he took his musical abilities to new heights for tech company Samsung’s newest campaign.

Samsung has tapped Suga to breathe new life into Over the Horizon, Samsung Galaxy’s brand jingle. The remixed track was released in the tech company’s “Unpacked 2021” event that featured its latest products and innovations.

In the “Voices of Galaxy” campaign video posted on Wednesday, Aug. 11, Suga recalled his childhood memories where he was fond of listening to instrumentals.

“I listened to a lot of instrumentals at a young age and I’ve always wanted to make an instrumental track, so the whole process was incredible,” Suga shared.

Suga shared his creative process in remixing the tech company’s brand jingle where he experimented with “new sounds and emotions,” while staying true to the brand’s identity.

“The first sketch didn’t take long. I listened to it over and over again and added a string solo and guitar to make it more dramatic and to give it the full grandeur. I tried to make my own interpretation while keeping the melody largely the same, for it to resonate with a broader audience,” he added.

What are your thoughts on Suga's remixed track, ARMYs?
