It's happening! Two drag reality shows are coming to the Philippines, and they have just opened the auditions.

RuPaul announced Tuesday, Aug. 17, that the casting for the first season of Drag Race Philippines, the Philippine franchise of American reality TV competition RuPaul's Drag Race, is now open.

"Calling all queens. If you think you have what it takes to become the first Drag Race superstar from the Philippines, we wanna hear from you. Show us your charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent, and this could be the beginning of the rest of your life," said RuPaul.

Confirming the news, World of Wonder co-founders Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey said in a joint statement that they are "so excited to introduce audiences to the dazzling queens of the Philippines."

"WOW Presents Plus was created to serve as a springboard for underrepresented voices, so we are thrilled to exclusively premiere Drag Race Philippines on the platform for our global viewers," the statement said.

Aspiring contestants may apply on their official website.

Similarly, Drag Race alum Manila Luzon also announced that Drag Den Philippines is now looking for the first ever Philippine Drag Supreme, stating that queens have to be 18 years old and above, "with good makeup skills," "a pleasing personality, and "a desire for an exciting new life."

Auditionees must upload their transformation videos on TikTok and fill out an entry form here. Auditions are open from August 16 to August 31.
