Fans of the feel-good K-drama Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha will never forget Yoon Hyejin’s (Shin Minah) dental clinic. Not only is it the first clinic in the fictional Gongjin Village, but it’s also the place that contains many wholesome memories among the cast.

Since Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha ended in October 2021, many of the iconic locations in Gongjin Village have been converted into tourist destinations. One of which includes Hyejin’s Dental Clinic which has been converted into a cozy restaurant that sells yummy home-cooked meals.

In a virtual tour by Instagram user @bada_smell_, the restaurant is shown to be located in Pohang, South Korea, and the original clean-cut design of Yoon Dental Clinic was retained. However, the post didn’t indicate any details on the owners of the resto and when it was opened.

The dental clinic’s minimal lobby was transformed into a spacious dining area where tourists can enjoy their dishes and gaze at the sea. For a dose of nostalgia, the doors of the patient rooms also maintained their minimal flair.

@bada_smell_ also shared a glimpse of the restaurant’s delectable dishes such as tonkatsu with curry and veggie bibimbap (mixed rice). Yum!

In case you’ve missed it, the restaurant also includes the heart-fluttering poster of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha where Shin Minah and Kim Seonho’s faces can be seen.

In a report by Preview, the restaurant was originally a scuba diving store and a fisherman’s welfare center.

Tourists can visit the restaurant at 429 Cheongjin-ri, Cheongha-myeon, Buk-gu, Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do, South Korea.

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha is a “healing drama” that tells the story of Yoon Hyejin (Shin Minah) who moves into Gongjin Village and opens up her own dental clinic. She crosses paths with the town’s all-around handyman Hong Dusik (Kim Seonho) and they eventually fall in love.

The K-drama also revolves around Gongjin’s villagers who have their own stories and struggles to tell.
