For those who want to embrace your love for K-culture, this is your sign!

You can enjoy watching your favorite K-dramas without subtitles and sing along to your favorite K-pop songs by learning how to speak and write in the language.

Announced via Facebook on September 2, the Korean language classes will be given for free by the UP Asian Center.

With the entire online session to be held through Zoom, the program is set to begin on September 10, every Saturday from 9 AM to 12 PM, and will end on December 17, 2022.

The Beginner Level Korean language classes will be handled by Dr. Go Eun Kim from Seoul National University, and an official certification will be handed out to those who will be able to finish the course.

Those interested to join can fill up an application form from Asian Center’s official website and prepare to submit a 300-500 word essay that explains why you want or need to study the Korean language. Full mechanics for the essay are available on the site as well.

Make sure to sign up as soon as possible, as the registration will end on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 5 PM with limited slots only.

The language class is being held in partnership with Korea Foundation and Asia Center, Seoul National University.
