Nintendo’s Super Smash Bros., but instead of Luigi beating Link, it's Spongebob whacking Michelangelo (from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) in the face.

Yes, Nickelodeon is releasing a brand new video game similar to Super Smash Bros., however, this time it’s iconic Nickelodeon characters battling each other out. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is an action-packed nostalgia fest with numerous characters spanning generations of Nickelodeon shows.

Included in the roster are SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, Lincoln Loud, Nigel Thornberry, Helga, Reptar, Danny Phantom, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and many more.

The new fighting game will feature 20 themed levels found in the Nickelodeon TV series universe such as SpongeBob SquarePants’s Jellyfish Fields and TMNT’s Technodrome. The game will be available with both single and multiplayer modes for online gaming and local multiplayer with up to four players.

Although All-Star Brawl is clearly inspired by Super Smash Bros., it isn’t entirely similar. One of the pointed out differences is that players of the game have to unlock additional moves for each character with in-game gallery content.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl releases later this year on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
