Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and The Promised Neverland are two of the most popular shonen manga to be released in recent times. Both have a few things in common. Both have equally popular anime series adaptations that launched in 2019. Both are currently in line for the second season. And unfortunately, both mangas have ended this year.

The manga of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba concluded with Chapter 205 back in May while The Promised Neverland had its bitter sweet finale in June with Chapter 181. Since then, fans have been stuck in this melancholic conundrum, no choice but to wait for Season 2 of each anime for new content.

Thankfully, the guys at Shonen Jump are back to the rescue! It looks like both franchises are getting ready to release new chapters of their respective stories. Fans can finally see more of Tanjiro and Nezuko, as well as the rebellious trio of orphans Emma, Ray, and Norman.

In a recent tweet, Shonen Jump dropped the news that both Demon Slayer and The Promised Neverland will be releasing an extra one-shot chapter of their respective manga titles to continue the story that had previously drawn to a close.

According to the announcement, the new bonus chapters are already available at the viz.com website.
