Every universe is different, and Marvel Studios isn’t afraid to explore every possibility it has to offer.

Marvel Studios finally drops the much anticipated trailer for their mind breaking, multiverse animated series What If...?

Much like what the title suggests, What If...? is here to answer all of Marvel fans’s undying questions. What if Steve Rogers isn’t Captain America, instead it was Peggy Carter who drinks the serum? What if T’Challa and Drax were actually friends? What if Erik Killmonger actually saved Tony Stark from the missile attack that will eventually lead him to become Iron Man? The questions and possibilities are endless, and to accompany fans on this journey is Watcher, the mysterious narrator who can see through different realities, but doesn’t interfere with them.

Everything that will unfold in the series will exist outside of the stories that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has established as canon. So, for the neverending theories and easter eggs, this show is definitely a treasure trove of secrets and hints. What’s even more exciting is that a rare gem will once again grace Marvel’s universe—and that is Howard the Duck.

To add more to the hype, many familiar MCU stars will be reprising their roles and will lend their voices to once again relive their characters. Among the returnees are Robert Downey Jr. and the late Chadwick Boseman. What If...? marks one of Boseman’s last projects with the MCU.

Ant-Man’s Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas also return as their respective characters. Michael B. Jordan also joins Boseman as representatives of the Black Panther cast.

As for the cast of Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes and Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter return as well, they are joined by Toby Jones as Arnim Zola and Neal McDonough as Dum Dum Dugan.

For the Guardians of the Galaxy episode, Karen Gillan plays Nebula with Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Michael Rooker as Yondu, and Djimon Hounsou as Korath.

Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor with Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Taika Waititi as Korg, and Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster.

In addition to the already mentioned cast, Thanos is back with Josh Brolin as his voice actor, Mark Ruffalo is still Bruce Banner aka The Hulk, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, and of course, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.

Marvel’s What If...? is set to air on August 11.
