Squid Game is the latest talk of the town, with the show taking the number one spot on Netflix a week after its release.

The South Korean drama series is a gripping tale about a group of desperate citizens who volunteer to play children’s games for a huge cash prize, with deadly consequences. Unfortunately, Squid Game only has nine episodes and one season, so most people will have already finished binge-watching it by now.

Looking for something new to watch with similar themes of deadly competitions? Sadly, Japanese films Battle Royale (2000) and As the Gods Will (2014), which netizens have been comparing to Squid Game, are not available on Netflix Philippines. Instead, you might want to check out some shows below that you might have missed, as well as new additions recently added to Netflix's library.
