Miss Pasay, Makati, and Bohol emerge as both Missosology, Sash Factor's final top picks for Miss Universe Philippines 2022
With the coronation night happening tomorrow, April 30, Missosology and Sash Factor bared their top picks for who will take home the Miss Universe Philippines crown. Surprisingly, the two analysts have the same standouts in mind.
The two pages named Miss Pasay Silvia Celeste Cortesi as their number one pick for the title, with Miss Makati Michelle Dee and Miss Bohol Pauline Amelinckx following in second and third.
"When it comes to overall package, Cortesi seems to have checked all the boxes. She's statuesque, smart, and confident," Missosology said, describing the Pasay beauty as "Miss Universe material."
So far, Cortesi was in the top 3 for the headshot challenge, swimsuit challenge, and won the casting video challenge.
Meanwhile, Dee, who raked most of the special awards during the preliminaries, came only second on their list because, as critics said, her closed-door interview performance lacked energy.
"She could use a bit of oomph in her performance," Missosology commented.
From past challenges, Dee was in the top 3 for both the swimsuit and casting video competitions.
Meanwhile, Missosology sees potential in Amelinckx who has been growing popular thanks to her formal press presentation and interviews. "Her stage presence is undeniable," described the analyst.
Other standouts include Miss Misamis Oriental Annabelle Mae McDonnel and Miss Taguig Maria Katrina Llegado.
