Weeks after Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico welcomed their newborn daughter to the world, the couple has finally revealed her full name.

On their Instagram accounts, Solenn and Nico both shared a glimpse of their time in the hospital after their second daughter was successfully delivered via caesarean section.

In the caption, the pair revealed the birth date and the full name of their bundle of joy, "December 14, the birth of our second daughter Maëlys Lionel Bolzico."

If the name sounds familiar, that's because it came from Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi, who led the win of his team in the semifinals of the FIFA World Cup.

Nico, who comes from Argentina himself, previously shared that his homeland's victory is one that he holds close to his heart because football is a sport that gave him some of his life's "best memories." Thus, it is only fitting that their beloved daughter is named after the player who made the win possible.

In fact, Nico seemed a little too distracted by the football game to the point that Solenn, who is half-French, joked, "Here in the birthing room and Nico is still obsessed over the Argentinian win. I don't know what's more important, [the game or the birth of our daughter]."

In another video posted on his Instagram profile, Nico said that a lot of people have been asking him why he decided to name their child after Lionel, and his answer is simple: "The reason is I need her to feel Argentinian. She feels so French already because she is our second daughter."
