Bea Alonzo says she has ex who made her check her weight every day to see if she got 'heavier'

Bea Alonzo opened up about her dating life and revealed she had an ex-boyfriend who made her check her weight every day just to determine whether she got "heavier."

In a guesting over Mariel Padilla's YouTube vlog published on June 4, the actress took part in a game of two truths and a lie, in which they made three statements about a certain topic.

Talking about her past relationships, Bea said in her first entry that one of her ex-partners grossed her out with his poor hygiene.

In a more serious tone, she later revealed she had an ex who made her check her weight every day, as Mariel made face and "GRABE YON!" flashed on the screen.

Bea's third entry was that she broke up with a non-showbiz boyfriend on his birthday even though there was a birthday surprise waiting for him.

Mariel correctly guessed that the third entry was the lie, though Bea clarified that the only lie there was whose birthday it was because it was hers. "As in 'di ko alam, biglang, 'Surprise!' tapos kaka-break lang namin," she said.

The guy, who's still friends with Bea's friends, now has a wife and two kids, she hinted.

Bea noted that she's friends with most of her exes, with Mariel saying that the guy who made her check her weight every day was the exception. Bea, then, simply laughed at the remark.

Last April, the local star opened up about her weight gain due to hypothyroidism. The National Institutes of Health defines it as a condition “when the thyroid gland doesn’t make enough thyroid hormones to meet your body’s needs.”

She also has polycystic ovarian syndrome or PCOS, which is “a condition in which the ovaries produce an abnormal amount of androgens, male sex hormones that are usually present in women in small amounts," according to John Hopkins Medicine.

The actress said she's managing her health conditions by working out, dieting, as well as taking medications and supplements.
