Daniel Padilla has shared his latest life update as he returned to Vietnam.

The actor recently posted a carousel post on his Instagram account with the caption, “Tales of Saigon.”

Some of the photos include a night eating out with friends, enjoying a small gig, stopping by a streetside bookshop, and strolling around the streets in Saigon (or Ho Chi Minh City) in Vietnam.

The 2 Good 2 Be True star previously shared in his interview with showbiz reporter MJ Felipe that he enjoyed his last visit to Vietnam “very much” and he wanted to return soon.

"Ang dami kong gagawin sa labas ng industriya. I’m very excited,” he said in his interview on the sidelines during his contract signing with ABS-CBN.

Apart from new shows, Padilla said that he wants to do new things, such as venturing into a business and traveling.

“Parang gusto kong bumalik ng Vietnam, kasi nung last akong nandoon, I enjoyed it very much,” he previously said, adding he wanted to visit his best friend, Seth who is based in Saigon.

In January, he was also rumored to be dating a Vietnamese girl named Minh Phuo, or Emma, who fans speculate was one of the reasons for his breakup from former long-time girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo.

Emma has since denied the rumors, clarifying that she just saw and briefly interacted with Padilla once during his last visit alongside his friends.

“My brother (anh: kuya) owns the bar that Daniel went to. My brother told me that Daniel is there and I can say hi to him because I know he is a famous actor. I saw Daniel and his friends in the bar, exchanged a few words, and then I went back home with my sister. That is the end of my interaction with him,” she continued.

Emma went on to appeal to fans to be “civilized and polite,” especially since the latter has threatened her life and job.

“I know you guys love and appreciate your idol. I also feel the same to the artists I support, but please be civilized and polite. Please be a cultured person. You guys have threatened my life and my job, sent messages and spammed my family and friends,” she lamented. “This is something I would not wish to happen to anyone.”

Padilla is set to star in the upcoming film Nang Mapagod si Kamatayan alongside Zanjoe Marudo. He is also busy with his new food business dubbed Spice Grill in Dubai.
