Has Matty Healy listened to Taylor Swift’s new album? Here’s his answer

Matty Healy was asked whether he has given Taylor Swift’s double album, The Tortured Poets Department, a listen.

According to a report by E! Online, The 1975 singer said he hasn’t taken the time to check the entire thing just yet. “I haven’t really listened to that much of it,” he told paparazzi when he was spotted out and about in Los Angeles on Wednesday, April 24.

“But I’m sure it’s good,” he continued.

Swift dropped her 11th album on Friday, April 19—less than two months after announcing it at the 2024 GRAMMYs as she accepted her award for Best Pop Vocal Album for her hit album  Midnights.

Her fans speculated that some of the tracks in it are about Healy, including TTPD that seemingly references his love for typewriters and Fortnight that revolves around a romance that was short but intense.

The musicians first sparked dating rumors in 2014, and again in May last year after The Sun exclusively reported that an insider “close to Taylor” revealed they were “madly in love with each other.” It came nearly a month after Swift’s reported breakup with Joe Alwyn in early April.

Entertainment Tonight, citing a source, reported in June 2023 that they have called it quits as they “were both extremely busy and realized they’re not really compatible with each other.”

Swift is now dating football star Travis Kelce, with whom she sparked romance speculations in September after being spotted at Kansas City Chiefs' home game against the Chicago Bears.

Healy, meanwhile, is now being linked to model Gabbriette Bechtel.
