Even our faves can't escape the internet's meme clutches.
Social media had a field day over the weekend when Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez changed her Facebook profile photo to promote her upcoming concerts 'Solo"—but not in the way you think.
In the profile photo updated on Saturday, Nov. 19, a noticeably blurred and smaller version of her concert poster was lovingly feasted on by fans of the now-"Asia's Song Blurred."
"I Remini natin yan, Miss Reg!!" a fan commented, referring to the photo-sharpening app.
"Ate reg nging Asia’s Song Blurred ka dito 😂😂 Love you ate reg," another quipped.
"Kasi cropped photo lang galing sa cover photo nya. Recycled. MINDSET ba, MINDSET," another comment read."
Several others also reshared the photo and put their own spin on the running joke. Despite this, more people sent their love to the singer's gorgeous new photo—low quality or not.
Luckily, it seemed that Regine listened to the call of her fans and promptly changed the photo to a noticeably bigger and clearer image the following day.
Netizens have since rejoiced over the better quality version, but still teased her about it on her comments section.
"She’s not playing. She aint blurred no moooooo," the photo's top comment reads.
"Ayan back to asia's songbird na. ung isa kase asia's song blurred nakakaloka. ganda ganda pa naman ng queen namin," said another.
Some also still cracked jokes over the use of the Remini app: "From Reginified to Reminified"
Blurred or not though, Regine still knows how to capture her fans' love and attention.
