Moira Dela Torre has finally spoken up about claims that she was hiring a ghostwriter for her songs and that she cheated on her estranged husband Jason Marvin Hernandez.

"I want to set things straight once and for all. Let me be clear: I have never employed a ghostwriter," Dela Torre said in a statement posted on her official Facebook page on May 30.

She said she's "fortunate enough" to collaborate with "immensely talented artists," who treat each other with respect and acknowledge the contributions of everybody.

Her songs are also a "true reflection" of her deepest emotions and experiences, she added.

"I am fully prepared to provide evidence that supports this truth, including screenshots of conversations and recordings of my songs," she said, adding that by doing so, it will "undoubtedly validate and disprove the harmful accusations" made against her.

Dela Torre next addressed cheating allegations against her.

"I did not cheat on Jason," she said. "It is unfair that I find myself in a position where I have to defend my name and even explain why I did not deserve to be cheated on."

She said her focus now is the path toward self-healing, as the weight of trauma still "lingers heavily" in her heart. She also gave a shoutout to her family, bandmates, and friends.

"Their presence has been my anchor, grounding me during these turbulent moments," Dela Torre said.

Dela Torre is hoping to have the "capacity to embrace a love that is faithful and genuine."

"I take solace in the knowledge that I am Moira—an artist—who will bravely navigate these challenges and emerge stronger than ever," her statement concluded.

Social media has been abuzz over the weekend after songwriter Lolito Go, Dela Torre and Hernandez's industry colleague, in a lengthy Facebook post made several claims about her being "more of an oppressor than a victim." Dela Torre's management and friends have since rallied behind her and wrote testimonies of her character on social media.

Hernandez, meanwhile, has yet to respond to Go's claims as of this writing.

Dela Torre and Hernandez exchanged wedding vows on Jan. 8, 2019, two years since they became a couple in February 2017.

In May 2022, Hernandez announced "with a heavy heart" that he and Dela Torre are "parting ways" and admitted to being "unfaithful to her during their marriage."
