Get ready to start your engines because a Filipina drag queen is joining RuPaul's Drag Race Season 15!

Aura Mayari, whose real name is Jay-R de Leon, is among the 16 contestants in the upcoming season of the Emmy-winning reality competition series.

On Twitter, the Filipina Moon Goddess shared a teaser for the show wearing a Filipiñana-inspired outfit.

"I mean, look at this face. I was dubbed in Chicago as the Walking Filter, which means that I don't need any filter to look like this. I dare you guys to zoom in and see any flaws, b*tch. Where?" she said.

Aside from the title of being the next Drag Race Superstar, these hopefuls are competing for the biggest-ever cash prize of $20,000 (P1.1 million).

Aura is a 30-year-old drag queen who hails from the Philippines. She is known for her her facial acrobatics and fierce beauty looks.

Her drag name, Aura, is inspired by a Filipino gay slang term "awra," which according to her, "describes the entity of my drag."

"She is stunningly beautiful and will give you pure energy on stage. But don’t be fooled by that beauty, I am known for my facial acrobatics (whatever that means, just watch my videos on Instagram! LOL) and my spastic-ness on stage. I can dance the house down or I can give you the most emotional ballads…or I can give you a punk-a$$ performance!" she said in an interview.

Aura will be joined by Amethyst, Anetra, Irene Dubois, Jax, Loosey LaDuca, Luxx Noir London, Malaysia Babydoll Foxx, Marcia Marcia Marcia, Mistress Isabelle Brooks, Princess Poppy, Robin Fierce, Salina EsTitties, Sasha Colby, and twins Sugar and Spice.

The show will premier in January 4, 2023.
