Imagine having a dinner date in Italy with the love of your life. Though that might sound like the ultimate fantasy for some, celebrity couple Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli made it into a reality with their recent Sicily snaps.

Through Instagram, the couple shared photos of themselves enjoying a beautiful al fresco dinner in Don Antonio Ortigia, a restaurant located in Syracuse, Italy.

Don Antonio Ortigia is known for its quaint spot in the middle of the city and delectable Sicilian cuisine.

"Both first timers in Sicily and let me tell you, we feel in love with the place!" Matteo wrote. "It was so beautiful, from the colors of the historic structures, the people, small tight hilly roads and of course the FOOD!"

This isn't the first time that the couple shared snippets of their lowkey Italian trip. In late June, they also attended an opera as recommended by the Italian ambassador to the Philippines, Marco Clemente.

"Few days before our trip to Italy, the Italian ambassador recommended the famous show 'Aida di Giuseppe Verdi' and to perfect timing it was showing during our scheduled trip and we were able to get fantastic seats!" the couple wrote.

The show was held at Italy's famous amphitheater, Arena Di Verona, and the two artists couldn't help but gush over the awe-inspiring theatrics.

"The show was fantastic with singers belting Italian lyrics with so much emotion!" Matteo said.

Since tying the knot back in February of 2020, Sarah and Matteo have been enjoying traveling together.

One of their most recent trips was to Tanay, Rizal where they likewise enjoyed the moment through horseback riding and being one with nature.
