Korean pop superstar Lisa of BLACKPINK has found a new friend in Spanish singer-songwriter Rosalía—and they went on a friendly hang out in the US.
On Rosalía's Instagram, the two artists are seen having a ton of fun together as they visited The Broad, a contemporary art museum in Los Angeles, California.
In some of the images, the fellow Coachella 2023 performers took selfies inside the widely popular "Infinity Mirrored Room – The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away" by Yayoi Kusama.
They also posed in front of Under The Table by artist Robert Therrien.
Rosalía also snapped some pictures of Lisa in front of a Jean-Michel Basquiat artwork, writing: “Mi amiga es más bonita que un Basquiat.” (My friend is more beautiful than a Basquiat.)
After the museum tour, the singers are also seen smiling widely as they appeared to be ordering from a food truck.
This may be the first time that they met, but both artists had expressed their admiration for each other in the past.
In an interview with Radio Disney México, Rosalia said that she is a fan of Lisa. She even gifted the Korean artist with a copy of her MOTOMAMI album.
“I really love her, this girl dances so well,” she said.
For her part, Lisa said that she admires the Spanish singer because she embraces her culture. "Rosalía is so cool. She has her own Spanish culture, that’s inside her person, that influences her music," she told Rolling Stone.
"When you see her, you think, ‘Oh, she’s Spanish.’ And she uses her culture so well, making it into her own thing," Lisa added.
Both artists will be back on the Coachella stage on Saturday, April 22 (US time).
