'Wait, whaaaat???': Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde are now engaged
"God gave me you to show me what's real."
Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde just got engaged.
Mendoza announced the news on her social media accounts on July 29, sharing four photos of her and Atayde in which she shows off the ring.

"Wait, whaaaat??? We’re engaged?!" she wrote.
Minutes later, Atayde shared the good news to his own Instagram followers, with a post that show the romantic outdoor setup he prepared for his fiancé.
One of the photos in his post captures Mendoza standing in a field filled with artificial white roses. At the back is a set of LED lights that form the phrase, "Will you marry me."
"My turn, I will marry you cutie. ❤️ 07.28.22," Atayde wrote on the caption.
The couple started dating in December 2018, but only went public about their relationship in January 2019.
