Since BTS member Jin entered the military in December of last year, every update from the K-pop idol sends ARMYs over the moon.

Earlier today, March 4, BTS' "Worldwide Handsome" along with fellow members J-hope and Jimin made the (purple) hearts of their fans flutter once again with his first Instagram update for 2023.

The photo Jin shared shows J-hope and Jimin paying him a visit at his military base. Jin, who was promoted to Private First Class on March 1, is seen sporting his military uniform and buzz-cut hair. The younger BTS members are standing on each side.

Jin captioned his post with a short "welcome."

Unsurprisingly, Jin's latest update caught Seokjinnies (Jin solo stans) by surprise and left them emotional. Some took to Twitter to express how proud they are of their idol and to extend their well wishes to him.

One fan wrote, "His badge already changed into PFC. So proud of him! Please always be healthy and happy Jin!"

Another user tweeted, "Somehow I knew we’d get an update this weekend but never expected this [crying emoji]. We are so blessed."

"He has filled out a bit and looks handsome as ever. Those rosy cheeks [smiley with heart eyes emoji]. WE MISS YOU JIN. WE ARE WAITING FOR YOU JIN," a fan said.

"#JIN is looking fine as ever w/ the rank badge of a private 1st class. The man of integrity has always been ready & willing to serve his country. It was by his own decision to do so & he took a decisive action to enlist. 1st class all the way & in every way!" another Seokjinnie tweeted.

Jin started his mandatory military service on Dec. 13, 2022 at the recruit training center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.

A month later, on Jan. 13 of this year, the eldest member of BTS was assigned as a teaching assistant in the 5th Infantry Division recruits training center. He is set to be discharged on June 12, 2024.

ARMYs can catch Jin on the big screen once again in Coldplay's upcoming concert film, Coldplay – Music Of The Spheres: Live At River Plate, slated to hit theaters worldwide on April 19 and 23.

Jin's latest update comes a week after J-hope was announced by BTS' agency, BigHit Music, to have enlisted in the military. According to the label's statement released on Feb. 26, J-hope has begun the process of enlisting in the military and that he is expected to start his training soon.

Jimin, on the other hand, is set to release his debut solo album, Face, on March 24.
