Andrea Brillantes tells BLACKPINK's Rosé about her breakup with Ricci Rivero: 'Oh no, I'll pretend I didn't see that'

A lot has happened ever since Andrea Brillantes got help from BLACKPINK's Rosé with her promposal to her now ex-boyfriend Ricci Rivero, and the actress made sure to update the K-pop star all about it.

Andrea had a hilarious exchange with the South Korean singer during her Instagram livestream in celebration of BLACKPINK's seventh year together.

There, Rosé was asking viewers about their memorable moments as a BLINK, and Andrea typed, "My fave memory was when you noticed me for my promposal."

To recall, Andrea had caught the attention of BLACKPINK during the latter’s Born Pink concert at the Philippine Arena back in March. In the middle of the show, Rosé and Lisa took the time to read the "promposal" sign that the actress held as her K-pop idols were on the stage.

Ricci, who was still with Andrea at the time, was all smiles as he said yes to her proposal to go with her to the Star Magical Prom on March 30.

As Rosé read the actress' comment during the livestream, she quickly remembered helping her with the promposal, "Oh, was that you? I think it was somewhere in Southeast Asia. I don't remember, but I do remember [your promposal], I do."

Andrea then typed another message updating the singer on her relationship status, "We broke up now."

Rosé was rendered surprised at this, and she could be seen covering her mouth as she laughed at the unexpected development.

"You broke up now? Oh no, I'll pretend I didn't see that," she said.

But Andrea assured her that everything is okay now and that she is still happy, which earned her a thumbs-up from Rosé as she said, "I'm happy that you're happy."

Ricci and Andrea became official on April 9 last year, when the UAAP basketball player asked for her hand in court after the University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons won against the Far Eastern University Tamaraws.

They sparked breakup rumors in May, with some netizens speculating that beauty queen-turned-politician Leren Bautista was involved in their split. Ricci has since denied that a third party wrecked their relationship.

Andrea meanwhile shared that she has now moved on and has already forgiven her ex-boyfriend.
