Concertgoers can throw the weirdest, not to mention most painful, things at their favorite idols during concerts to get their attention. The latest star to fall victim to their fans' dangerous love is Bebe Rexha, who collapsed on stage after being hit by a flying phone.

It all happened as Rexha was performing at her Best F'N Night of My Life tour in The Rooftop at Pier 17, New York on June 18. The 33-year-old singer was walking towards the audience during her last song when a phone came flying towards her and slammed against the side of her head.

A video uploaded by a Twitter user named Alex Chavez shows the singer trying to head back to the center of the stage but ends up falling to her knees while holding the part of her head that was hit by the phone.

Several crew members are seen coming to Rexha's aid as the incident was happening.

The videographer captioned his post, "Absolutely great show ruined by a fan throwing their phone at @BebeRexha hopefully she is ok after that."

Several users described the unidentified fan's move as "soooo disrespectful," "cruel," and "horrible" in the comments section of the post.

"She needs to sue them ASAP," another user commented while one said, "People just seriously need to be decent human beings."

In a video captured by another fan, Rexha is seen being escorted out of the concert venue by a medic and her team. The Grammy-nominated singer even tried to wave goodbye to her fans.

Another user shared a photo of the fan identifying himself as the one who threw the phone at the singer, with some saying that he was arrested later.

According to Pop Base, Rexha's mother said that the singer needed to undergo three stitches on her head to treat the injury. It was also reported that Rexha had to cancel her meet-and-greet session after the concert. The singer has yet to comment on the incident.

Rexha's case is just one of many incidents where musicians are injured by the objects fans throw at them on stage. Lady Gaga, for one, was hit on the head by a Dr. Simi doll during her Chromatic Ball tour in Spain in August of 2022.

Another star who has received a myriad of objects—from tampons to chicken nuggets—on stage is Harry Styles. The 29-year-old singer was brutally hit by Skittles on his eye during his Love on Tour concert in Los Angeles in November of last year. Prior to that and many other painful moments, a flying shoe smacked on Styles' crotch during a concert with One Direction way back February 2013.
