Lazada PH officially welcomes Anne Curtis as its newest brand ambassador

Anne Curtis is bringing her fun and energetic personality to Lazada Philippines! 

First revealed by the international e-commerce platform on Oct. 24, the brand formally cemented the actress and host as their new endorser during its event UNLEASH: the 11.11 Lazada's Biggest Sale Media Launch held on Friday, Oct. 28.

The It’s Showtime host is set to lead the campaign for the 11.11 mega sale on Nov. 11 to 13, which Lazada claims as the biggest one in Asia.

During the brand's announcement event, Lazada Philippines Chief Executive Officer Carlos Barrera shared that they have always wanted the multimedia star to be a part of the team because she exemplifies the values of the company.

He said that they eyed someone who was a fashionable and trendy businesswoman with a drive to always succeed, and no other candidate fitted the description other than Anne.

"She is someone who turns her passions into actions and manages all the different roles as she goes ahead—from being a businesswoman, a mother, an actress, and an incredible person who inspires all of us," Barrera said.

He emphasized, "She truly inspires all Filipinos and definitely inspires all of us."

Anne Curtis enters the stage as she is officially welcomed into the Lazada family.

In answering questions by the press, Anne shared that she always had a very strong liking for online shopping.

"Before I became a mom, I had a love for fashion and I love dressing up. People would see that on my Instagram, on show night. Having a daily show pa, you always have to keep on coming up with new outfits. So before pa man, mahilig na talaga ako mag-update ng wardrobe ko so that would mean shopping online," Anne said.

She said that what made her gravitate towards Lazada are its stackable vouchers and fast shipping time.

When asked about her three online shopping tactics, Anne advised shoppers to practice patience and wait for super sale events to come around before checking out the items in their cart. Moreover, whenever she finds similar items from different sellers, she makes it a habit to read feedback from other buyers and see the pictures.

She also tries to buy items straight from LazMall, which is the company's curated selection of leading international and local brands and authorized brand distributors.

Anne is joining Lazada’s growing list of prominent celebrity endorsers such as Kathryn Bernardo, Mimiyuuuh, Bea Alonzo, and Alden Richards. For the shopping site’s regional ambassadors, they include Hyun Bin, Lee Min Ho, and the group SEVENTEEN.

The multimedia star was previously an endorser for mega sale events of Lazada’s strict competitor, Shopee.
