Alma Concepcion has the sassiest response to a netizen who called her ‘gurami’ or old
Alma Concepcion is not one to back down from haters on social media.
Concepcion fired back at a netizen who called her “gurami” or “old” in an Instagram post where she looked back on her beauty queen days. The netizen’s comment has been deleted, as of this writing.
The actress and former beauty queen, however, was quick to share a screenshot of the netizen’s comment on her Facebook page. She captioned her post, “Mas gusto ko na maging ‘gurami’ kesa maging bata na wala naman respeto sa kapwa.”
The screenshot showed Concepcion immediately responding to the netizen’s comment saying, “So? Aging is a privilege denied to many. Ano issue mo sa gurami?”
Concepcion also posted a follow-up screenshot of the netizen’s response. As seen in the photo, they wrote, “Anu na naman ang drama ng matandang to?”
Of course, she made sure to clap back with the sassiness of a queen.
“[It’s] not the age, [it’s] how you look. Ikaw, ano bang itsura mo,” she wrote.
Concepcion’s post was filled with supportive comments from her friends and followers.
“[Don’t] mind them Mama,” one netizen wrote in the comments.
Another netizen wrote, “Stupid people doesn't need your attention..not worth it.”
Concepcion was crowned as Binibining Pilipinas International in 1994. The 46-year-old lass also competed in the Mr. and Mrs. Grand Universe pageant in 2019.
